Merzouga – Mifis – Khamlia

In the morning we will leave with our 4×4 to go into the desert, where there is no asphalt only track and sand. Together with a experienced driving guide you will have the opportunity to enjoy a 4×4 ride on the dunes to remember the experience of the Paris Dakar. In the desert we will also visit the nomads who live there and we will be with them to have tea, get closer to their way of life and get to know the desert better.

We will also see the mines of “mifis” from which natural fossils are obtained and visit the village of the Gnawa, a black ethnic group descended from slaves that is known worldwide for its music, protagonist in the festival of Essaouira. There, we will enjoy a small concert that will allow us to get closer to their traditional music.

Merzouga – Taouss – Ouzina – Ramlia

Crossing rivers of sand, dry lakes and endless plains, this stage will make us begin to know what the desert is. We will drive parallel to the Algerian border, cross the beautiful dunes of Ouzina and arrive at the village of Ramlia where we will stop for tea and a visit to the palm trees.
